The meeting approved the rate of cash dividend payment in 2021 for shareholders of 9%, marking the success in the production and business process in 2021.
Specifically, overcoming difficulties in 2021, EVNGENCO 2 achieved many positive results in production and business. The total production power output of EVNGENCO 2 is 15,077 million kWh, reaching 95% of the 2021 plan, accounting for approximately 12% of the total production power output of EVN and other power generation corporations in EVN; accounting for 6% of the total power output of the whole system.
From 1 July 2021, EVNGENCO2 switched to operating under the model of a joint-stock company, so the business results in 2021 are analyzed in 2 phases: the first 6 months of the year according to the model of a one-member company limited with 100% EVN’s capital, in the last 6 months of the year following the model of a joint-stock company. In both phases, EVNGENCO 2 achieved and exceeded the assigned plan.

In implementing digital transformation, EVNGENCO 2 has built intelligent production management software - Siemens XHQ organized many seminars and intensive training courses. Thereby, laying the first "bricks" for the process of building EVNGENCO 2 into a digital enterprise by 2025.
The major repair work of units throughout EVNGENCO 2 was completed on time and ahead of schedule.
Last year, the whole corporation also donated more than VND 37 billion for social security programs, showing responsibility to the social community.
In 2022, EVNGENCO 2 will strive to achieve the production output of the parent company and its subsidiary with 100% capital of 1,599 million kWh, the dividend payment rate is not less than 6% in cash. At the same time, EVNGENCO 2 will develop a plan and implement reforestation work, and strengthen the protection of watershed forests in hydropower reservoirs to protect the environment and biodiversity of Vietnam's forest environment. EVNGENCO 2 will also participate in and actively and timely support social security activities.
