In 2021, overcoming many difficulties, a number of important power source projects managed by EVNPMB 3 have basically followed the progress such as Bac Ai Pumped-storage Hydropower Project, Expanded Tri An Hydropower project and upgrading the system of opening and closing equipment for bow-shaped valves and spillways of Tri An Hydropower Plant, and so on.
Also in 2021, EVNPMB 3 was assigned by EVN to implement the project of supplying power from the national grid for Con Dao district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Currently, the supplement of planning has been verified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and is expected to be approved in January 2022. The Board has completed the survey to serve the preparation of the pre-feasibility study report and is ready to submit it to EVN for consideration.
Regarding arrangement and mobilization of construction investment capital, EVNPMB 3 is promoting and completing procedures for JICA's ODA loan to finance O Mon III Thermal Power Plant Project and Bac Ai Pumped-storage Hydropower Project.
Implementing the theme for 2021 "Digital transformation in the Electricity of Vietnam", Power Project Management Board No. 3 has completed all 5/5 task groups. Especially, the Board has implemented "Digital transformation in the preparation, storage and management of construction investment project documents - application of BIM, Metadata, Qrcode" in the editing of Documents for Phuoc Thai 1 Solar-power Project, Bac Ai Hydropower and O Mon Thermopower IV Project, thereby bringing practical efficiency.
