In Vietnam's energy market, Steag has contributed to implementing the projects of Vung Ang 1 and Nghi Son 2 thermal power plants. In addition, Steag is (highly) experienced in investment and implementation of multi-source power projects in more than 80 countries around the world.
Mr. Ulrich Sigel - Director of Steag Energy Services expressed Steag’s expectation to cooperate and share with EVN in technologies that improve the efficiency of thermal units and optimize production - business efficiency of EVN power plants.

On the basis of considering the cooperation possibility, as well as evaluating the capacities and needs of the two parties, the EVN Vice President agreed with Steag on the plan of jointly organizing a technical seminar in the coming time to continue intensive exchange of technology solutions. At the same time, Steag experts could survey and assess the procedure as well as the actual operation situation of some thermal units of EVN.
The two parties also spent time to share experiences in applying digital technology in operating thermal power plants, deploying remote online monitoring system for thermal units, and experiences in operating multi-source power systems.
