A Vuong Hydropower Reservoir holds a water surface area of over 900 hectares with many types of aquatic products of high economic value. To enhance aquatic resources and improve the reservoir bed environment, improving the living conditions of people around the reservoir bed area, for many years, AVC has implemented a fish seed stocking program. On this occasion, AVC released over 15,000 large, high-value fish including lentils, black catfish, bigheaded carp, etc. This is a very practical and meaningful activity, demonstrating the Company's responsibility in joining hands to protect the environment, regenerate and develop aquatic resources; at the same time, it is an opportunity to propagate to people to raise awareness of farming, organizing management, and exploiting aquatic resources in the reservoir area to ensure immediate and long-term effectiveness.
More than 15,000 fingerlings released into reservoir of A Vuong Hydropower Plant
Along with releasing fish, at the ceremony, A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company donated VND 170 million to build 03 great solidarity houses for people in Ma Cooih commune (Dong Giang district) and Dang commune (Tay Giang district). These are activities that the Company has organized regularly and continuously for many years locally. Up to now, the Company has supported the construction of 39 great solidarity houses in the mountainous districts of Quang Nam.
Mr. Cao Huy Bao - General Director of A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company said that along with the task of producing electricity, social security and environmental protection in the project area are always given priority by Power Generation Corporation 2. A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company shows deep interest in and considers this a key task in its activities. The unit regularly coordinates with local authorities to organize community communication campaigns; build a great solidarity house; and school support program, measure and sew uniforms for students at all levels; flood recovery support, and many other social security activities.
