This time, the Company released over 40,000 fingerlings, with high economic benefits and suitable for the local habitat with a total value of nearly VND 100 million, into Ban Ve hydropower reservoir.
This is an annual activity of Ban Ve Hydropower Company in order to restore and regenerate aquatic resources that have been depleted over time, contributing to the balance of the ecosystem. At the same time, this activity shall provide a source of nutrient-dense and clean food, improving the livelihoods of local communities.

Also through this program, Ban Ve Hydropower Company wishes to convey a message to and encourage local people to strictly observe regulations on fishing; avoid using electrical pulses, explosives and chemicals for fishing, which unbalance the ecosystem and biodiversity of Ban Ve hydropower reservoir in particular and of the Ca river in general.
Ban Ve hydropower reservoir basin is more than 5,000 hectares of water, with a volume of 1.83 billion cubic meters of water, a very favorable condition for local people to promote aquaculture, which can create a stable source of income and improve people's living standards.
To respond to the movement "Tree planting festival", to strengthen the protection and development of forests, Ban Ve Hydropower Company has planted 50 trees which are suitable for the local climate, worth nearly VND 60 million.
Ban Ve Hydropower Plant has an installed capacity of 320MW, built on Nam Non stream, Yen Na commune, Tuong Duong district in 2004. After 12 years of operation, the company has successfully completed major goals such as: ensuring water supply and flood control for downstream; safely operating the reservoir according to the Inter-reservoir Operation Process in the Ca river basin during flood seasons, etc. Up to now, the electricity generation output has reached nearly 12 billion kWh.
