After 6 years, EVN Red Week has contributed more than 54,400 blood units to cure and treat patients

Implemented annually since 2015, the EVN Red Week voluntary blood donation program with the message "Ten thousand hearts - One compassion" has attracted the participation of a large number of employees of Vietnam Electricity nationwide. It is estimated that more than 54,400 blood units have been donated by EVN people to the "blood bank" to cure and treat patients.

Blood donation results in EVN Red Week from 2015 – 2020

The EVN Red Week program is a practical activity towards the social community, contributing blood to serve emergency and preventive care for patients, especially pediatric ones, especially at the end of the year when there is always a shortage of blood reserve.

This is also one of the activities to celebrate the Vietnam Power Sector Traditional Day (December 21), in response to the implementation of the annual "Customer Gratitude Month" program of EVN.

With the achievements in blood donation, in December 2020, Vietnam Electricity was honored to be awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Health and was nominated by the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion for the "Red drop" award in 2020.

This year 2021, the 7th EVN Red Week is expected to take place during December 6 - 12, 2021.
