General Director of EVNNPT and Director of EVNEPTC signed Power Transmission Service Contract for the period of 2019 - 2023
The Power Transmission Service Contract just signed consists of 13 clauses and 3 appendices, effective from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2023. The transmission charge is adjusted annually according to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam Electricity, of which the transmission charge in 2019 is VND 101.3 per kWh.
The previous contract in the period (2016 - 2018) terminated on December 31, 2018. EVNNPT and EPTC have actively negotiated the terms and conditions of the new contract in line with the actual situation, which was approved by Vietnam Electricity at Document No. 4725/EVN-TCKT dated September 4, 2019.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung - General Director of EVNNPT, the demand for electricity for socio-economic development has been increasing year by year, with the average growth rate of transmission volume of 10.84% per year. In 2018 alone, the total transmission volume reached 184.52 billion kWh, an increase of 11.03% compared to 2017, with the transmission charge of VND 110.88 per kWh. In 2019, the assigned transmission volume is 203.2 billion kWh, an increase of 10.13% compared to 2018.
The Corporation together with EVN has jointly supplied enough electricity for the country's socio-economic development and people's daily life, especially for Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
2019 is the 11th year since the establishment of the National Power Transmission Corporation, EVNNPT has performed the task of providing power transmission services to Vietnam Electricity through a contract signed with the Electric Power Trading Company (the one being authorized by EVN).
