This is one of the largest bidding packages of Ialy Hydropower Plant Extension Project with a price of more than VND 287.9 billion. The main scope of work of the package includes: Manufacturing and supply of valve gates, water intake valve slots in the downstream of the power plant; Manufacturing and supply of penstocks; Manufacturing and supply of crane goats; Supply of hydraulic lift systems; Performance of related technical services. The package is funded by a credit facility from the French Development Agency (AFD).
Contracting parties

Representative of the contractor consortium, Mr. Vu Trong Thuc - Deputy General Director of Industrial Machinery and Equipment Corporation is committed to providing materials and equipment in accordance with the signed contract.
Ialy Hydropower Plant Extension project is located in Ya Tang commune, Sa Thay district, Kon Tum province and Ia Mo Nong commune, Ia Kreng, Ialy town, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province; owned by Vietnam Electricity, and then being assigned to Power Project Management Board No.2 for implementation.
Ialy Hydropower Plant Extension project includes more than 50 different large and small bid packages. According to the plan, the whole project will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024.
