The US Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink assessed this seminar as a good opportunity for EVNNPT and the US enterprises to exchange and strengthen mutual understanding and orienting for coming cooperation activities.
Through this seminar, EVNNPT can expand and diversify its cooperation with financial organizations and suppliers of equipment, technology, providers of solutions and services in the field of power transmission from the US.
Mr. Dang Phan Tuong - Chairman of EVNNPT’s Member Council said that the power transmission system of 220 - 500kV levels managed by the Corporation currently had been 25,203km long, ranking 3rd in ASEAN and 8th in Asia. The total capacity of 153 220kV and 500kV transformer stations was 91,256MVA, ranking 4th in ASEAN and 11th in Asia.
EVNNPT has managed the national power transmission system to meet requirements for connection and capacity release of power projects; making crucial contributions to ensuring sufficient power supply for the country’s socio-economic development.

EVNNPT set a strategic goal to become one of the top 4 power transmission organizations in ASEAN region by 2020; strive to become one of the top 10 power transmission organizations in Asia by 2025, and reach international advanced level in the field of power transmission by 2030.
In order to realize this goal, EVNNPT has to implement a lot of synchronous solutions in areas: Construction investment, operation management, financing and capital mobilization, application of science and technology, corporate governance, organization of apparatus and HR development, environmental protection, communication and international relations, etc.
