Thai Binh Thermal Power Company's production exceeded the plan in 2021

By the end of 2021, Thai Binh Thermal Power Company had well performed the assigned tasks, accordingly, the electricity generation output exceeded the plan by more than 2%. The plant has operated safely, stably and reliably. The company has fulfilled its obligations to the State budget, improving the living standards of its employees.

The Conference on summarizing the implementation of the production and business plan in 2021, deploying targets and tasks of the 2022 plan and the Employee Conference in 2022 of Thai Binh Thermal Power Company took place on the afternoon of 11 January 2022 in Thai Binh.

Despite many difficulties, Thai Binh Thermal Power Company has successfully fulfilled the assigned tasks. Accordingly, the electricity generation output reached 3,655.5 million kWh, 2.1% higher than the assigned plan (3,581 million kWh). The overhaul of power unit 1 was completed ahead of schedule. The company also met economic - technical targets, maintaining stable employment and living standards for employees.

In the context of volatile coal fuel prices in 2022, the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, etc., Thai Binh Thermal Power Company will confront many difficulties and challenges in electricity production in 2022. EVN’s Vice President Ngo Son Hai requested the company to secure sufficient fuel for power production, to operate generating units in a safe, reliable, stable and available manner according to the assigned plan. The company strives to be in the group of top 3 coal-fired power plants of Vietnam Electricity (in 2021), completing the overhaul of the power unit 2 on schedule and with satisfactory quality.

- Total electricity generation output: 3,542 million kWh.

- Auxiliary power consumption of the whole plant: 11%.

- Heat loss: 10,597.27 kJ/kWh.

- Availability factor 84.11%.
