The rate of non-cash payment for electricity bills has reached nearly 94%

This performance result has been achieved by Vietnam Electricity in the first 10 months of 2021. This positive achievement shows that non-cash payment methods have been more and more preferred and supported by customers.

Specifically, the rate of electricity bills being paid by non-cash methods of EVN reached 93.38%, 1.66% higher than that of the same period in 2020 (91.72%).

The percentage of customers using non-cash payments for electricity bills in the first 10 months of 2021 reached 77.99% of the total number of customers nationwide, 7.68% higher than the same period in 2020.

  EVN cooperates with partners, banks, intermediary payment organizations, etc. to deploy many electricity bill payment services to provide convenience to customers

Besides providing cashless electricity bill payment services on customer service applications, customer care websites, the National Public Service Portal, etc., EVN and power corporations have also cooperated with banks and intermediary organizations to provide customers with more options and higher convenience by online electricity bill payment: payment via bank accounts, e-wallets, payment with QR code, etc.

Especially, to encourage customers to use non-cash payment methods, EVN has actively coordinated with partners, intermediary payment organizations, e-wallets to offer many discount codes, attractive gifts for customers when paying for electricity bills on electronic transaction applications.
