According to the Draft Report summarizing the activities of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union for the 2018-2023 term, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union sets a general target for the 2023-2028 term building a strong and reliable trade union organization of union members and employees; Ensuring jobs, stable income and increasingly improving employees's lives; Ensuring safety for employees, minimizing occupational accidents; Ensuring the democratic rights of employees; Participating in effective enterprise management, thereby contributing to building Vietnam Electricity to overcome all difficulties and develop; contributing to ensuring energy security, economic development and serving people's lives.
The Vietnam Electricity Trade Union also sets out 9 groups of tasks and solutions for implementation. In which, the focus is on taking care of the lives, representing and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees; Actively participating in social security activities; Organizing emulation movements to contribute to completing EVN's political tasks; Innovating and improving the efficiency of trade union activities at all levels; Improving the capacity of trade union officials and building strong trade unions; Innovating leadership, direction and implementation; Adapting the trade union's operating methods to the new context and situation...
