Vietnam Electricity and Phongsubthavy Group will cooperate on power purchasing from Nam Sum 3A Hydropower Plant with an installed capacity of 45MW.

In 2021, under the witness of senior leaders of the two countries, EVN and Phongsubthavy Group have exchanged power purchase agreements for Nam Yeuang hydropower plant cluster, Nam Mo 2, Nam Tai, Nam Sak, Nam Sao, Nam Chao hydropower plants; signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in studying and purchasing electricity from Se Cong 5, Nam Ngone 1 and Nam Ngone 2 hydropower plants.
