To date, EEMC has supplied more than 1,500 transmission transformers to the market, maintaining its leading position in the country and making a significant contribution to ensuring national energy security.

Currently, EEMC is accelerating digital transformation, improving management capacity, and expanding its international market. In 2025, the Corporation exported 132kV transformers to Australia for the first time, while also achieving its highest-ever business performance, with consolidated revenue of VND 2,927 billion and pre-tax profit of VND 244.5 billion.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Truong Thanh Hoai acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation to the power sector and the national economy. Throughout its development, EEMC has clearly demonstrated its role as a core mechanical and electrical enterprise, pioneering in scientific research, product development, and gradually replacing imported equipment. The Corporation's products are now widely used in the national power system, making a significant contribution to ensuring energy security, while simultaneously increasing the localization rate and self-reliance of the economy.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that in the context of energy transition, green economic development, and deep international integration, science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation continue to be key drivers determining the competitiveness of Vietnamese industrial enterprises. Therefore, EEMC needs to continue to promote research, master core technologies, improve the design and manufacturing capabilities of key electrical equipment, and strongly apply digital technology and automation in production and management. Simultaneously, it will participate more deeply in the value chain of the power and energy industries.

In particular, according to the revised National Energy Master Plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the investment needs for energy development in the coming period are very large, estimated at approximately VND 24-28 trillion. This is an important opportunity for domestic enterprises, including EEMC, to expand production, improve technological capabilities, and gradually participate more deeply in regional and international markets.

Based on this, the Deputy Minister suggested that the Corporation focus on in-depth investment, perfecting the technology for manufacturing high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage electrical equipment; gradually approaching new technologies such as direct current transmission; and expanding research and development of equipment products for smart grids such as current transformers, voltage transformers, reactors, GIS equipment, etc., thereby improving product quality and competitiveness.

Taking these directives into account, the Corporation will concretize them into programs and action solutions in the coming time, with the target of sustainable development, enhancing competitiveness, and gradually expanding into the international market.

On this occasion, the Corporation was also honored to receive the Third-Class Labor Medal awarded by the President of Vietnam, as well as many certificates of merit for outstanding achievements in labor and production from the Prime Minister, Vietnam Electricity, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
