EVN and C05 jointly organize environmental activities at Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant

On March 5, at Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant (Phu Tho Province), Vietnam Electricity (EVN), in coordination with the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Department (C05), organized the program “EVN Green Journey - Accompanying Sustainable Power Sources”.

Representing C05 were Colonel Tran Viet Phuong - Deputy Director, Major General Nhu Thi Minh Nguyet - former Deputy Director, along with leaders of various divisions and officers.

Representing EVN were Mr. Pham Le Phu – Vice President, Mr. Bui Dinh Thanh - EVN Controller, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nam - former Vice President, along with representatives from specialized departments and the EVN Youth Union. Representing Hoa Binh Hydropower Company was Mr. Pham Van Vuong - Director, together with the company’s staff members.

Speech by EVN Vice President Pham Le Phu

According to EVN Vice President Pham Le Phu, developing sustainable power sources is associated with environmental protection responsibility. In this journey, EVN has always received close coordination from functional forces, including C05. The EVN Vice President believes that the cooperation between EVN and C05 will become increasingly strong, effective, and trustworthy, contributing both to protecting the environment and ensuring a stable power supply, thereby firmly strengthening national energy security.

Colonel Tran Viet Phuong - Deputy Director of C05, expressed the desire to continue close coordination with EVN to implement environmental protection programs, realize the Party’s resolutions on environmental protection, and contribute to the sustainable development of the country.

Also on the same morning, the two parties coordinated to organize the launching ceremony of the 2026 Tree Planting Festival at the premises of the Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant Expansion, along with the activity of releasing about 2 tons of fish fingerlings into the Hoa Binh Hydropower reservoir to restore aquatic resources and balance the ecosystem of the reservoir area.
