The forum was organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), through the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), in collaboration with partners. The awards ceremony aimed to honour businesses, models, and solutions that have made positive contributions to efficient energy use, environmental protection, and sustainable development.

An Khe – Ka Nak Hydropower Company, being honoured as a “Typical Enterprise in Green Energy and Environment of Vietnam 2026” is not only a recognition of its achievements in clean power production, environmental protection, and sustainable development, but also affirms AKKN's position, prestige, and responsibility in its journey with Power Generation Corporation 2 (EVNGENCO2) and Vietnam Electricity (EVN) to realize the goal of green growth, aiming for net emissions of “zero”.

An Khe Hydropower Plant and the Ka Nak Hydropower Plant, the company always identifies a dual mission: ensuring stable power production while efficiently exploiting water resources and harmonizing with the natural environment.

Over more than 15 years of operation, AKKN has produced and supplied nearly 9 billion kWh to the national power grid, contributing nearly VND 1,500 billion to the state budget, helping to ensure energy security and serve socio-economic development.

The company also continuously improves its management capabilities, applying digital technology in operational monitoring, technical management, and equipment performance optimization. These operational improvements not only increase the reliability of the generating units but also enhance the value of each clean power generated and supplied to the national grid.

Alongside its power production mission, AKKN consistently prioritizes environmental protection, creating a green, clean, and beautiful landscape, preserving the ecosystem around its facilities, and promoting green energy awareness among its workforce.
