At the "Connecting Love" arts program on the evening of October 5, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) donated VND 1 billion to help care for women and children with critical illnesses facing particularly difficult circumstances.

Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Do Duc Hung presented the donation on behalf of EVN’s leaders, employees, and workers at a program jointly organized by the Vietnam Women’s Union and the Ministry of Public Security at the Ho Guom Opera House in Hanoi.

EVN's contribution, alongside resources from other agencies, organizations, businesses, and individuals, aims to support women and children facing hardships while undergoing treatment for critical illnesses.

Over the years, alongside its mission to ensure a stable power supply, EVN and its member units have carried out numerous social welfare activities. These include helping residents recover from natural disasters; building and repairing schools and homes for impoverished households; and caring for policy-beneficiary families and disadvantaged children. These activities demonstrate the electricity sector’s commitment to the community and the spirit of mutual support among its employees and workers.
