Attending the meeting, on behalf of EVNCPC, there included Mr. Nguyen Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Le Thi Phuong Cam - Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Huu Danh - Deputy General Director, and leaders of the Boards.
On the EVNNPT side, there were Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Tran Dang Khoa - Member of the Board of Directors, leaders of the Boards and Directors of affiliated transmission companies.
At the meeting, EVNNPT representatives reported in detail the current status of the power transmission grid in the Central Highlands region, including 39 transformer stations, including 6 500kV stations and 33 220kV stations with a total capacity of up to tens of thousands of MVA. In the first 9 months of 2025, at many times, the stations and lines operated at full load and overload, especially at the 500kV substations of Thanh My, Pleiku 2, and some 220kV substations such as Ninh Phuoc, Thap Cham, Tam Ky, Dung Quat, causing great pressure on operations. To meet the increasing load demand, EVNNPT is implementing 50 key projects, including 20 500kV projects and 30 220kV projects, focusing on regional connectivity, releasing the capacity of renewable energy sources, and supplying power to industrial loads.
EVNCPC representatives also reported the investment plan for the 2026 - 2030 period with a total capital demand of more than VND 27,000 billion, of which the 110kV grid alone accounts for about 15% of the total investment. EVNCPC proposed that EVNNPT soon implement a number of key projects synchronized with the 110kV grid, notably the Song Cau 220kV substation, to have a basis for connecting and supplying power to the rapidly developing industrial zones, and at the same time requested EVNNPT to pay and support the costs of a number of items that EVNCPC has participated in construction related to large transmission projects. EVNCPC also emphasized the need to synchronize the progress of 220kV and 110kV projects, effectively exploit existing 110kV bays, as well as closely coordinate in the connection agreement process to avoid wastefulness and ensure a timely and stable power supply.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh - Chairman of EVNCPC’s Board of Directors making speech at meeting
Mr. Nguyen Thanh emphasized that the coordination between the two Corporations in the investment, construction, and operation of the power grid in the Central Highlands is extremely important. The Chairman of EVNCPC's Board of Directors requested EVNNPT to continue to share timely information on the situation of power line exploitation and the progress of ongoing projects to ensure synchronization in investment, especially urgent projects to serve the demand for power supply. Mr. Nguyen Thanh also acknowledged and agreed with the recommendations from EVNNPT, and at the same time directed the affiliated Power Companies to strengthen coordination and create maximum conditions for effective investment and operation of the power grid. In addition, Mr. Nguyen Thanh hoped that EVNNPT would continue to support and accompany the Corporation in perfecting the power grid system, ensuring the goal of safe, continuous, and effective power supply in the coming time.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung - Chairman of EVNNPT’s Board of Directors making speech at meeting
The meeting acknowledged the high consensus between EVNCPC and EVNNPT in coordinating the implementation of power projects according to the adjusted Power Plan VIII, affirming the common goal of developing a synchronous and modern power grid, ensuring safe, stable, and efficient operation, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the Central Highlands region in the coming period.
