On August 26, 2025, at the Tan Cang 220kV Substation (Ho Chi Minh City), the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) held a ceremony to affix the project nameplate of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union for the “Cat Lai - Tan Cang 220kV Transmission Line” project. This is one of the events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), as well as towards the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Representing the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union was Mr. Do Duc Hung, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union.

Representing EVNHCMC were Mr. Nguyen Minh Tung - Member of the EVNHCMC Board of Directors; Mr. Le Van Minh - Chairman of EVNHCMC Trade Union; and Mr. Bui Hai Thanh - Deputy General Director of EVNHCMC.

The project “Cat Lai - Tan Cang 220kV Transmission Line” was launched in March 2018 and was safely completed and energized on January 5, 2025.

With the safe completion and commissioning of the “Cat Lai - Tan Cang 220kV Transmission Line,” EVNHCMC continues to affirm its pioneering role in developing a modern and synchronized power infrastructure system, meeting the increasing demands of customers and the socio-economic development of the city.
