The awarding ceremony was held on October 8 in Hanoi. The program is a meaningful and practical activity in response to Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, renovation, and national digital transformation, and to celebrate National Digital Transformation Day (October 10). The CMIS system was deployed and built in 2003 with version 1.0. By 2024, EVNICT had developed CMIS version 4.0 based on a modern technology platform to fully meet the requirements of the electricity business process of Vietnam Electricity, digitizing 100% of the electricity service provision process; connecting and sharing data with national data sharing platforms; and deploying mobile applications to serve field work. The product was awarded the Sao Khue Award 2025 by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) on April 19.

As of October 2025, EVNICT has won 19 Sao Khue awards, 12 Top 10 Vietnamese IT enterprises awards, and 7 digital transformation awards.

The Vietnam Digital Transformation Award is organized annually under the chairmanship of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and the sponsorship of the Ministry of Information and Communications (now the Ministry of Science and Technology) to honor outstanding digital transformation achievements of state agencies, public service units, businesses, and individuals.
