On the evening of May 6th, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), the Power Transmission Project Management Board (NPTPMB), in coordination with the Northern Power System Dispatch Center and other relevant units, successfully energized the Project to Increase the Transmission Capacity of the Hiep Hoa – Phu Binh 220kV Transmission Line.
The project of upgrading the transmission capacity of the Hiep Hoa - Phu Binh 220kV line includes replacing the existing conductors and accessories of the Hiep Hoa - Phu Binh 220kV line with new ones to ensure increased transmission capacity. The total length of the line is 9.8km, of which 7.38 km runs through Thai Nguyen province and 2.42km runs through Bac Ninh province.
Upon completion, the project will enhance the ability to meet the load demands of Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh provinces. It will also synchronize the entire load capacity of the 220kV transmission line in the area, ensuring that the line carries the correct load capacity of the conductors under various operating conditions.
