On January 7, the inauguration ceremony of the project “Construction of the new Thanh Cong 2 110kV Substation and the connecting transmission line to the Thanh Cong 2110kV Substation” (designated as An Hoi 110kV Substation) was jointly organized by the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) and Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company. This is a key project serving the socio-economic development of Tay Ninh Province, especially supporting the operations of the Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park.

According to Mr. Pham Ngo Hoang Trang – Deputy Director of Tay Ninh Power Company, Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park (IP) covers an area of 1,020 hectares and is one of the industrial parks in Tay Ninh Province with rapidly growing electricity demand. In recent years, the existing Thanh Cong 110kV Substation has played an important role in supplying power to the entire industrial park. However, in response to production expansion and the attraction of large-scale investment projects, investment in an additional An Hoi 110kV Substation has become an urgent requirement.
The An Hoi 110kV Substation has a total investment cost of approximately VND 102 billion, with a designed capacity of 2×63MVA. In the first phase, one 63MVA transformer is installed with six 22kV outgoing feeders (five feeders supplying power entirely within Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park and one feeder supplying power outside the industrial park). Foundations have been prepared for the installation of the second transformer when load demand increases. The substation is designed as an unmanned facility, integrating modern control, protection, monitoring, and SCADA systems. The 110kV double-circuit connecting transmission line has a length of more than 1.7km.
Construction commenced on August 16, 2025. With the concerted efforts of the relevant units, after four months of intensive construction, the project was successfully energized and put into operation on December 19, 2025, meeting schedule and quality requirements. The project contributes to the step-by-step upgrading of the distribution grid in accordance with the N-1 standard, reducing the power supply radius, enhancing the reliability of electricity supply, and particularly meeting the development needs of loads at Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park and surrounding areas during the 2025–2030 period.

Mr. Dao Hoa Binh – EVNSPC Deputy General Director delivers speech at ceremony.
According to Mr. Le Quang Vu – Deputy General Director of Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company, the An Hoi 110kV Substation project is not only an additional facility ensuring energy infrastructure for the industrial park, but also helps build long-term confidence among investors.
