Currently, EVN owns over 32,000MW of generation capacity, accounting for more than 36% of the nation’s total. EVN also operates 100% of the transmission system, with nearly 12,000km of 500kV lines and hundreds of modern substations. The national power grid now covers 100% of communes and 99.74% of households. EVN has also supplied electricity to 18 islands, 14 of which are connected to the national grid.

The model also highlights power plants operated by EVN and other investors across the country’s three regions. A special highlight was the 500kV North–South transmission line system – the “backbone” of the national grid – with three circuits completed, including the Quang Trach – Pho Noi Circuit-3 power transmission work, regarded as an “unprecedented feat” in the power sector for its record-fast completion within just over six months.

In addition, EVN’s exhibition booth displayed models and products from its member units, such as a 500kV transformer, BIM models, rooftop solar management applications, virtual reality technologies, electronic meters, remote metering systems, digital utility vehicles and technicians, and drones for grid inspection, etc, reflecting strong advancements in science, technology, and digital transformation within the power sector.
Moreover, a series of slides projected on LED screens at EVN’s booth provided visitors with a vivid and engaging journey, enriched by striking visuals and concise, informative content. The content covers everything from major hydropower projects, key generation and transmission projects, and modern, transparent customer service initiatives, to an overview of EVN’s 71-year history of formation and development.
