Accordingly, the plant’s expected capacity is 26MW, and the capacity of each wind turbine will be selected according to advanced technology. The main items of the project include wind turbine towers, internal roads, an operations building, and other auxiliary works.

The planned interconnection lines include: construction of a new 22/110kV, 40MVA substation for the SCI Huong Viet wind power plant to serve its connection; expansion of one 110kV outgoing feeder bay at the 110kV Huong Phung 2 substation; construction of a single-circuit 110kV transmission line using ACSR 185 conductor of approximately 9km connecting the SCI Huong Viet substation to the Huong Phung 2 substation.

The total investment cost is estimated at about VND 1,018 billion. The project’s operating term is 50 years from the date the investor approval decision is issued.

The implementation schedule is about 18 months from the approval of the investor selection under the bidding law. The investment decision and construction commencement of the main work are expected in Q4 2025, with the project coming into operation in Q4 2026.
