EVNSPC strengthens communication on electricity saving for people in the area
To ensure a safe and stable electricity supply in the Southern provinces, from the beginning of 2024, EVNSPC and its member units have proactively deployed electricity-saving solutions, with special emphasis on the implementation of a voluntary load response (DR) program.
By the end of June 2024, EVNSPC had signed DR program participation agreements with more than 7,000 customers with electricity consumption of 1 million kWh/year or more.
Regarding signing electricity-saving agreements with customers in 2024, EVNSPC has signed agreements with 320,943/323,742 customers. Of which, 7,091/7,091 customers with consumption from 1 million kWh or more have signed agreements (reaching 100%); 18,398/18,401 customers consuming 100,000kWh or more have signed agreements (reaching 99.98%).
By July 8, 2024, more than 155,000 customers participated in the online electricity saving contest on the Customer Care application, reaching over 150% of the plan.
EVNSPC has signed cooperation agreements with 18 Departments of Industry and Trade of provinces and cities to promote the implementation of Directive 20/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on enhancing electricity saving in the period 2023 - 2025 and the subsequent years.
