EVNSPC and its member units have stepped up the implementation of electricity-saving solutions, with special attention paid to the voluntary demand response (DR) program. By the end of July 2024, on day average, 5,807 customers shifted consumption according to the agreement (reaching 96.61%), the average shifted capacity as committed on working days was 1,921MW, etc.
Based on the production and business situation and the electricity load profile of customers registered in 2024, the Power Companies grasp and closely follow the production and business status of industrial customers with electricity consumption of 1 million kWh/year or more to forecast electricity consumption, recommend customers to shift from 5% to 10% of the customer's peak capacity in the time frame from 14:00 to 16:00 every day to other time frames and avoid the time frames from 9:30 to 11:30, 17:00 to 22:00 every day.
In August 2024, EVNSPC will promote the implementation of the DSM program and promote safe, economical, and efficient use of electricity; continue to communicate the electricity services provided by EVNSPC through the EVNSPC Customer Service App, etc.
