According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuyen - Director of the Central Power Projects Management Board (CPMB), by May 22, all difficulties and obstacles in terms of the site clearance for Doc Soi - Pleiku 2 500kV transmission line section had been removed. The sites for the last 3 anchorages have basically been cleared, including anchors 19-25, 25-29, 29-33 located in Binh Son district (Quang Ngai province).
To ensure the construction schedule, CPMB has directed the constructors, the supervision consultant, the design consultant, etc. to be flexible in implementing the project at the construction site, promptly reallocating manpower and vehicles from locations with outstanding problems to other locations, avoiding waiting and wasting human resources. Regarding the technical acceptance, right of way acceptance, the CPMB has reached agreement with the supervision consultant, the design consultant and the operation management organization on the principle "how far the project is constructed, the acceptance is conducted”, when the pulling of the last anchor ends, the project will be qualified for being energized and put into operation.
The project of 500kV transmission line, circuit 3, Doc Soi – Pleiku 2 section is targeted to be completed and energized by the end of June 2021.
Currently, the progress of Doc Soi – Pleiku 2 section is under control, so the goal of energizing the subproject in June 2021 is completely feasible. The completion and energization of the subproject is not only important for enhancing the transmission capacity of the 500kV power grid, but also is the driving force behind the progress of the entire project of the 500kV transmission line, circuit 3. Currently, local authorities, the construction contractors and related units are putting their maximize resources on solving outstanding problems in order to acquire the remaining land and implement the project construction according to the schedule.
500kV transmission line, circuit 3, Doc Soi - Pleiku 2 section:
- Going through 3 provinces of Quang Ngai, Kon Tum and Gia Lai;
- Total length is about 209km;
- The starting point is Doc Soi 500kV substation and the end point is Pleiku 2 500kV substation; expanding the bays at Doc Soi and Pleiku 2 500kV substations.
