EVNHCMC's Excellent Worker Contest in 2022 was held on July 26-27, with the competition of 179 engineers and direct workers in 4 occupational groups: "110kV line operation management", “Management and operation of 110kV substation”, “Management and operation of medium and low voltage lines and stations” and the occupational group “Excellent dispatcher at the distribution dispatching level”.

According to Mr. Luan Quoc Hung - Deputy General Director of EVNHCMC, the contest is an opportunity for EVNHCMC to evaluate the quality of its direct workforce, serving as a basis for training and fostering to improve labor quality and promote the working movement of productivity, quality, efficiency and safety for workers.
Evaluating the quality of this year's contest, Mr. Le Van Minh - Chairman of EVNHCMC's Trade Union said, the contest has been coordinated and implemented in accordance with the direction of EVN on the implementation, from the grassroots to the corporation levels. In particular, the contestants showed seriousness and professionalism during the contest.
On this occasion, EVNHCMC has also selected 33 candidates with excellent achievements to continue participating in the group-level preliminary round and then 21 candidates will be officially selected to participate in the Excellent Worker Contest at the EVN level, which is expected to be held around the end of September 2022.
