At the meeting, Mr. Libor Vacek - Chairman of CDT said that the Czech Extraction and Mining Technology includes 16 member companies, operating mainly in the fields of equipment supply and mining technology and method research.
Currently, CDT is developing a number of technologies and equipment in the coal-fired power field such as equipment providing for thermal power plants; online coal quality analysis system deployment; thermal imaging camera system for security surveillance and fire safety ensuring; automatic coal sampling system, etc. With those strengths, CDT desires to cooperate with EVN to improve the efficiency and management of coal use in coal-fired power plants; accelerate the industrialization and modernization process in coal production and use, and so on.

On the Vietnam Electricity side, EVN Vice President Nguyen Tai Anh thanked and expressed EVN’s welcome to cooperate with CDT in the future. EVN leaders said that controlling the quality and reliability of coal-fired power plants is always a top priority for EVN. The technologies introduced by CDT are essential for improving reliability and optimizing operation in coal-fired power plants. EVN Vice President desires CDT to study in detail related parameters such as hydrogen, iron, etc.
EVN and CDT agreed to continue discussing and detailing the contents to be able to move forward with specific and effective cooperation in the near future.
