Central Solar Power Plant gets ahead of the planned progress in connecting grid in phase 1

The project of Central Solar Power Plant was energized successfully to the grid in the first stage on June 14, 2019, completing 16 days ahead of the planned schedule.

The project of Central Solar Power Plant has a total design capacity of 50MW, located in Cam An Bac ward, Cam Lan district, Khanh Hoa province. The project has been invested by EVNCPC with VND 1.372 billion.

The successful energization in the first stage (capacity of 10MW) getting ahead of the planned schedule is a great effort made by EVNCPC; Project management board of Central rural Electrification - the Unit is assigned  by EVNCPC to manage the project, the  SUMEC – VNECO contractor Partnership and related organizations.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh, Deputy Director of EVNCPC, standing behind and monitoring the specifications when power generated into the grid.

Currently, EVNCPC and the contractors continue to urgently completing the remaining work items of the project.

Annually, when coming into commercial operation, the Central Solar Power Plant can supply the average power capacity of from 87.5GWh to 98.1GWh to the national grid.

The first photovoltaic panels of the project were installed from May 29, 2019

The plant includes 190,000 photovoltaic panels, an inverter system, a 22/110kv elevated substations, and a 110kV line connected to E28 Cam Ranh Substation.
