Central Viet Nam Power Projects Management Board completing 2 power grid works

The Central Viet Nam Power Projects Management Board (CPMB) has cooperated with related units to energize and put into operation AT2 transformers at Bao Lam 220kV and Kom Tum 220kV substations.

Both works are invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), the CPMB on behalf of EVNNPT takes charge of project management.

Each substation is additionally installed with a 220kV - 125MVA transformer and 110 - 220kV synchronous equipment, meeting the needs of load development in the local and its surrounding regions.

In particular, the project at Bao Lam 220kV substation (Ly Bon commune, Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province) is invested with a total of over VND 122 billion. The total investment of Kon Tum 220kV Substation project (Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province) is VND 97.5 billion.

These works also help to improve the power supply capacity according to N-1 criteria, at the same time minimizing power loss in the regional power grid .
