According to the report of EVNSPC, in the first 9 months of 2023, the total commercial electricity output reached 62.41 billion kWh, the estimated for the whole year was 83.15 billion kWh. Some targets are well implemented such as the rate of power losses implemented at 3.4%, reaching the assigned EVN plan; Electrical grid incidents improved significantly compared to that of the same period in 2022; The criteria for the reliability of power supply have all met the assigned target by EVN.
Up to now, EVNSPC has propagated and mobilized 5,215 large customers to sign agreements to participate in non-commercial Demand response (DR). Over 9 months, the number of implemented DR events was 19 ones.
Regarding investment in construction works, EVNSPC has commenced 21 power works and energized 22 power works, expected to commence 34 works a year and energize up to 42 works as planned by EVN.
Speaking for direction, Chairman Dang Hoang An asked EVNSPC to continue to make efforts to ensure power supply for socio-economic development and daily life of people in 21 provinces and cities in the South; At the same time, completing the criteria for production and business and customer services assigned by EVN. EVNSPC needs to quickly review, prioritize, and accelerate the construction progress of key projects, and anti-overloaded works; focus on implementing solutions to reduce power loss rate; improve customer service quality; promote electricity saving, and adjust the electric load.
