Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee – President and CEO of EVN affirmed that digital transformation and information security are very important issues for EVN. Digital transformation in EVN has implemented and ensured essential and effective criteria. Leadership levels in the whole group are aware that digital transformation is an indispensable trend in the development process of the electricity industry; Therefore, each employee as well as staff should take the initiative to participate in the digital transformation, accompanying and making efforts for the common goals of EVN.
With the active spirit of implementing digital transformation plans and tasks, many units have been recognized with remarkable results and achievements such as Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation is the first state-owned enterprise of the country to be certified by the Ministry of Information and Communications as a digital enterprise; Some units such as Power and Information Technology Company, Power Generation Corporation No. 3, Power Generation Corporation No. 1, Central Power Corporation, Northern Power Corporation, Southern Power Corporation, etc., won many awards of National Digital Transformation.
From such efforts, determination, and unanimity of the whole political system, by the end of 2022, EVN basically completed the digital transformation at a high rate, reaching the set-forth target.

Associated with the goal of national digital transformation
The digital transformation process of EVN is always attached and contributes positively to the goal of transforming the country, contributing to building the digital government and the digital economy. In performing political tasks, EVN has constantly innovated, modernized, and improved the quality of electricity services.
Since 2019, EVN has been allowed by the Government to provide level-4 online electricity services - the highest level on the National Public Service Portal (NPSP).
Since 2022, EVN has been assigned the task of connecting and sharing national databases about the population via NPSP to provide 2 electricity services. "EVN has completed 5 months ahead of the task deadline assigned by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 06/QD -TTg," said - Mr. Vo Quang Lam, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Vice President of EVN.
Accordingly, Vietnam Electricity has expanded the integration and sharing of population data for 100% of EVN level-4 online services provided on NPSP. This is also an effort made by EVN in implementing the theme of 2023 – the year of national digital data; It is also a positive contribution to the implementation of the Data application development project on population, identification, and electronic authentication for the national digital transformation period 2022 - 2025 (Project 06). According to data at the end of August 2023 published on NPSP, in 21 ministries, and industries providing online services on the portal, EVN is ranked 1 and the excellent Unit in maintaining the leading position for many consecutive months on the Portal.
Currently, EVN's EVNConnect ecosystem has also been developed with the goal of enhancing connectivity with the digital transformation platforms of the Government, ministries, branches, localities, and partners to maximize the nation's general data source and provide electricity services on these digital platforms.
