The projects were completed as scheduled and contributed to improve power supply reliability
Many important projects to ensure power supply for Hanoi city have been completed and put into operation such as 500 kV/220 kV Hiep Hoa – Dong Anh, 500/220 kV Dong Anh, Bac Ninh 2 substations, installation of the second transformer of 250 MVA at the Thuong Tin 500 kV substation (owned and managed by the National Power Transmission Corporation). The 110 kV projects owned and managed by the Hanoi Power Corporation included the second circuit of Thuong Tin - Thanh Oai - Van Tri – Quang Minh line, rehabilitation of the Ha Dong – Thuong Dinh, Chem – Phuc Tho lines and 110 kV Tu Liem substation…
For the first six months of 2017, the projects to ensure the power supply serving the APEC Summit have been urgently implemented. Seven out of eight 220 kV and 110 kV projects were completed, only Ngu Hanh Son 110 kV substation was expected to be energized in July 2017.
In the South, some key projects to ensure power supply for the South are still pending due to site clearance such as 500 kV Song Hau – Duc Hoa , the associated network projects of Vinh Tan Power Center including 500 kV Vinh Tan- Song May – Tan Uyen, 500 kV Song May – Tan Uyen transmission lines and the 500 kV Tan Uyen substation and connections. EVN directed its subsidiaries to work closely with the local authorities to solve problems of site clearance.
By the end of the second quarter of the year 2017, EVN has commenced sixty-four 110 kV to 500 kV projects including three 500 kV projects, six 220 kV projects and fifty-five 110 kV projects.
