Chairman of EVN’s Board of Directors Duong Quang Thanh emphasized that the bilateral cooperation between EVN and GE has been increasingly strengthened with proper and positive development steps over time.
According to EVN’s Chairman, in order to ensure electricity supply for the country, in the future, EVN will continue to invest in a number of power projects such as O Mon 4, Dung Quat 1 and Dung Quoc 3 gas fired thermal power plants. The Group also plans to build LNG power plants. These are opportunities for GE to maintain and develop the cooperation with EVN.

EVN’s Chairman Duong Quang Thanh also discussed cooperation possibilities with GE in the introduction of artificial intelligence applications (AI) to improve operating efficiency of the power system, optimize operation and production activities at EVN's power plants.
At the meeting, Mr. Ramesh Singaram thanked the useful information shared by the leader of EVN and affirmed that GE always appreciated development potentials in Viet Nam's power market. With EVN, GE is committed to cooperating with long-term vision, effectively developing the bilateral relation in a variety of spheres.
In the coming time, GE will continue to support EVN to improve the quality of human resources. GE is also committed to actively coordinating with the National Load Dispatch Center to effectively implement the technical assistance project on study and development of energy storage systems in Viet Nam.
