At the working session, Mr. Dinh Quang Tri said, in order to meet the fuel demand for production by some Southern thermal power plants in the coming time, EVN was considering the coal importing from Australia for the high assessment on its quality of products as well as services by suppliers from this country.
The group’s leaders also hope that EVN will learn from Australia’s experience in renewable energy development as Viet Nam is promoting new energy sources in its power system.

Mr. Craig Chittick shared that Australia was exporting many energy products and hoped to find opportunities for cooperation and become an energy supplier for Viet Nam in the coming time. Mr. Craig Chittick also affirmed that the Australian Embassy was ready to become a bridge to link energy companies in Australia with EVN, etc.
