To implement the power projects in Binh Thuan, the provincial People's Committee has just assigned the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Management Board of Binh Thuan Industrial Park, localities, and functional departments to implement a number of related contents.
Accordingly, focus on directing, actively resolving, and supporting the removal of difficulties and obstacles in investment procedures, construction, land, compensation and clearance, land use conversion, forest use conversion, etc., in the process of implementing projects, power source works, power grids in Binh Thuan province that have been approved by the Prime Minister in the Power Plan VIII, the Implementation Plan of Power Plan VIII. Especially with the Son My I BOT Thermal Power Plant project, the Son My II Thermal Power Plant project in Ham Tan district, 110 - 220 kV power lines and transformer stations to soon put the projects and works into operation. Thereby, it would contribute to ensuring power supply and national energy security and promoting socio-economic development in the locality.

Particularly, Binh Thuan Power Company and Binh Thuan Power Transmission is requested to speed up the construction progress of projects and power works invested by the unit and have a plan to upgrade, renovate, and maintain the power system periodically. Ensure safe and continuous power supply to serve the residential power consumption and socio-economic development of the province as well as actively coordinate with localities in implementing investment in power works.
