By the end of Q1/2021, Power Project Management Board No.1 (PMB1) has handed over the qualified site for the construction of plant items. Dump yard No. 02 (near National Highway No. 6) was qualified for dumping. Dump yard No. 01 has issued a Decision on approving the compensation plan, however, 3 households have not received compensation money as well as handed over the site. According to PMB1, the overall site handover is still behind schedule.
Regarding the package of construction and installation, the construction site is clearing, grubbing the ground for the foundation reservoir of water intake; hydropower plant foundation reservoir and discharge channel, etc. The soil excavation of the water intake, the directing channel, the soil excavation of the plant and the discharge channel are being implemented in an urgent manner.
Regarding waste transportation, PMB1 has issued a regulation on close coordination among related parties to control the waste transportation of the contractor joint venture.
EVN Deputy General Director Pham Hong Phuong directed, right in Q2/2021, the units on the site should develop detailed and specific plans to ensure the construction progress and quality of works. During the construction, special attention should be paid to safety, environmental sanitation and social behavior in the locality.
The Deputy General Director asked PMB1 to work closely with the local authorities at all levels to resolve the site clearance in April 2021; continue to coordinate with contractors to complete management procedures on-site in terms of quality, safety, and environmental impact in May 2021.
For the contractor, it is required to further improve and work with the investor to build up progress to manage the project. For design consultants, it is necessary to complete shop drawing design documents, regularly appoint staff to do duty on-site to coordinate in timely handling any arising issues in the construction process.
