Reinforcement of Quang Chau 220kV substation (Bac Giang province) completed before the hot season

The AT2 transformer with a capacity of 250MVA at Quang Chau 220kV substation (Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province) was successfully energized at 7:45 am on 31 March 2021, thereby increasing the capacity of the whole substation to 2x250MVA.

The project with a total investment of VND116.12 billion was implemented at Quang Chau 220kV substation (Trung Dong village, Van Trung commune, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province).

The project was invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation, managed and operated by the Central Power Project Management Unit. The Power Transmission Company 1 took over, manages and operates it.

The project is to ensure a stable, long-term and reliable power supply for socio-economic development in Bac Giang province and neighboring areas.
