The seminar at the main video point of EVNHANOI headquarters
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Ngo Son Hai - EVN Deputy General Director affirmed that the topic of the seminar of EVNHANOI is very exactly and in line with the current trend. If choosing the right direction in the distribution grid automation field will bring great efficiency to the operation of EVNHANOI in particular and the Group in general. Customers' requirements for service quality and power supply reliability are increasing day by day. Therefore, automation will make grid operation easier, more flexible and smarter. Power grid automation is in line with EVN's development strategies on digital transformation and smart grid development.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of EVNHANOI's Member Board said that with the determination to become a digital enterprise in 2023, EVNHANOI is making efforts to build a smart grid system and develop grid automation to meet flexible and efficient operation requirements, ensuring safe and stable power supply, high quality of customer service. To meet those goals, EVNHANOI has been implementing synchronous solutions from investment in facilities, application of science and technology as well as developing a team of engineers, ASEAN professional engineers and experts at all levels.
EVNHANOI's leadership chaired the seminar
In 2021, EVNHANOI registered and recognized 41 ASEAN engineers. In the coming time, the Corporation will continue to foster and develop more high-quality human resources to master the most modern applications and technologies, making EVNHANOI a place to converge and apply the most modern technologies for power grid automation and smart grid, is an environment for technology transfer, a bridge and a destination for connection between schools, businesses and solution providers.
Currently, the infrastructure of EVNHANOI's power grid is very convenient to apply automation solutions. Specifically, the corporation's 220/110kV power grid has been invested with a SCADA system at the substations to ensure signal transmission to the control center; 100% of 220/110kV substations operate under the unmanned standard. The medium voltage grid system has been equipped to collect, monitor and remotely control equipment on the grid. EVNHANOI is a pioneer in deploying an online monitoring system of operating parameters and abnormal phenomena warning for distribution substations, etc.
At the seminar, the participants shared and exchanged about the distribution grid automation field through such contents as Smart grid orientation at EVNHANOI; exploitation of the SCADA system application to improve the distribution grid reliability; integrating the load demand management system into the intelligent distribution grid; distribution grid automation with distributed power connection; safety solutions for distribution grid automation; application of science and technology in the operation of 110/220kV power grid.
