Donating 17 generators to COVID-19 control checkpoints in the border area of ​​Ca Mau province

Ca Mau Power Company under the Southern Power Corporation has just donated 17 generators to COVID-19 prevention and control checkpoints in the province.

Accordingly, 17 generators, with a total value of VND 170 million, have been donated by Ca Mau Power Company to checkpoints in Ca Mau city, Tran Van Thoi, U Minh, Dam Doi, and Thoi Binh districts.

According to a representative of Ca Mau Power Company, following the direction of the Southern PowerCorporation on ensuring electricity supply for the COVID-19 prevention and control checkpoints, Ca Mau Power Company has requested its affiliated power departments to ensure uninterrupted and stable power supply, coordinate with local authorities to develop contingency plans.

As for the COVID-19 pandemic control checkpoints currently not being electrified by the national power grid, Ca Mau Power Company has actively worked with local authorities to have the list of pandemic control checkpoints. Through the review, there are 17 locations in the province that need to be equipped with generators. The donation of generators will provide officers and soldiers with electricity for residential uses and lighting purposes; contributing to alleviating difficulties and improving the working conditions of officers and soldiers in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
