Together with power generation units in Power Generation Corporation 3, EPS has implemented many synchronous and proactive solutions in human resources, materials, and equipment for the repair and periodic maintenance of the factory equipment system.
Technology solutions such as RCM reliability enhancement, and remote monitoring of real-time RMS operating parameters help EPS repair workshops quickly detect and fix problems and abnormalities at Phu My, Vinh Tan, and Mong Duong Power Center, contributing to helping units ensure the 6-month power output plan in the dry season 2023 assigned by EVNGENCO3.
The processing of spare materials for major repair works helping to save more than VND 20 billion in procurement costs
According to the plan, in the last months of 2023, EPS will carry out 15 major repair works inside and outside GENCO3, the peak will be December when projects implemented at the same time such as: Overhaul of (expansion) 2.1 Phu My Thermal Power Plant cluster, overhaul Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant’s unit S2, etc., with the number of mobilized personnel up to more than 1,500 people. To ensure the safety, quality, economy, and efficiency of repair works, from the beginning of 2023, EPS has built a personnel chart, and detailed plans to coordinate repair personnel resources, especially as the key force in three clusters of Phu My, Vinh Tan, and Mong Duong Repair Workshops.
In addition to mobilizing internal personnel, EPS also builds a list of partners in the field of providing personnel for power plant maintenance and cooperates with manufacturers (GE, Doosan, MHPS...), supporting the supply senior technical experts in supervision and quality assurance of repair to best meet the requirements of the investor.
Up to the present time, the preparation for major repair works in 2023 is almost completed, ready to meet the requirements of safety, progress, and quality. The initiative in resources to ensure the quality, economy, and efficiency of repair projects continues to affirm the professionalism of EPS in the field of providing maintenance and repair services for power plants.
