EVN Accompanies the Vietnam Trust Scholarship Program

On August 18, in the city of Hanoi, the Vietnam Electricity and the Vietnam Heart Foundation-Vietnam Television (VTV) have jointly organised the ceremony announcing the Vietnam Trust Scholarship Program. In the school year 2016-2017, this scholarship program will offer VND 1.5 billion to the poor, fond of learning children across the country.

EVN is the founder, the sponsor and the companion of the Vietnam Trust Scholarship Program. With the accompanying of EVN, the Vietnam Trust Scholarship Program will grant 500 scholarships for poor students nationwide, with a total value of VND 1.5 billion in the schoolyear 2016-2017. The recipients of the scholarship are poor pupils in extremely difficult situations, orphants, children of the martyrs and the wounded. The priority of the scholarship will be given to the pupils who have had good academic achievement and won  prizes in academic contests of national  and international levels.

 EVN representatives awarded scholarship for 10 pupils of extremely difficult circumstances in Hanoi City

Right at the ceremony, the program has awarded scholarships worth VND 5 million each for 10 pupils who are orphans and are in difficult circumstances living Hanoi.
