EVN working with delegation of Embassy of the Russian Federation and Hanoi University of Science and Technology on 27 February 2024
Counselor Evgeny Mitrophanov said that Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI) and Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) in coordination with Hanoi University of Science and Technology connect and link training between leading technical universities in Vietnam - Russian Federation with the target of further enhancing the effectiveness of cooperation activities in science, technology, and energy.
In which, the Government of the Russian Federation will support EVN and leading scientific and technical universities in Vietnam in training human resources both long-term and short-term according to practical and completely free programs at Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI) and Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), participating in practical programs at energy and aviation corporations in the Russian Federation. The amount of support is about 1,000 scholarships for schools and businesses.
To concretize these training support programs, it is expected that at the end of March 2024, the delegation of MPEI and MAI, representatives of several corporations and companies in the energy and aviation sectors will come directly to Vietnam or organize online meetings to discuss training fields, training programs, number of training sessions..., as well as conditions for implementing training programs.

Counselor Evgeny Mitrophanov also informed that in April 2024, MPEI and MAI will organize seminars in the fields of energy and aviation and invite representatives of EVN and Hanoi University of Science and Technology to attend.
Sharing at the meeting, Mr. Pham Hung Dung, Deputy Head of the Foreign Cooperation Department, Hanoi National University emphasizes the long-term cooperative relationship with EVN over the past time and hopes within the framework of training and developing human resource programs in the Russian Federation, EVN and Hanoi University of Science and Technology will coordinate well to make the program successful, creating conditions for the parties to strengthen and expand cooperation, especially in the fields of scientific research and training of scientific staff.

Discussing at the meeting, EVN leaders said that EVN is currently preparing procedures and related documents to register to participate in training and developing human resource programs of EVN in the Russian Federation, mainly programs related to training experts, training engineers to operate EVN's power plants, managers of EVN, lecturers at vocational training schools within EVN, etc.
