EVN and PVN are two pillars of the energy sector. The leaders of the two groups jointly affirmed that over the past time, EVN and PVN have had a long-term relations, closely cooperated with each other in the spirit of compliance with the law, towards the common goal of ensuring national energy security, implementing political tasks as assigned by the Party and the State.

With respect to the work of gas supply for power generation, in the Southeast region, in 2020, the amount of gas supplied by PVN is basically guaranteed for gas turbine plants to operate according to the plan approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The two parties also made efforts to promote cooperation in many other activities such as: power production operation; negotiation, signing and conversion of power purchase agreements (PPAs) of plants invested by PVN; promoting handing over the 500kV distribution yard of Song Hau Power Center, Long Phu, etc.
