EVN has sold out 4.6 million shares at Thu Duc Electro Mechanical Company

Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has sold out nearly 4.6 million shares of EVN in Thu Duc Electro Mechanical Joint Stock Company (EMC), equivalent to 40.5% of the charter capital.

The trading was conducted by the order matching method from March 13, 2018 to March 16, 2018.

When EVN divests itself of its capital in the Company, EMC has found 3 big shareholders replacing EVN. All three shareholders are individual investors, specifically:

On March 15, 2018, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Lan bought 453,490 shares, increasing her own shares after trading to 964,960 shares, equivalent to 8.41%.

On March 16, 2018, Ms. Le Thi Anh Thu bought nearly 1.05 million shares, raising her own shares totally to 1.13 million shares, equivalent to 9.87%.

On the same day March 16, Mr. Tran Ngoc Duat purchased 1 million shares, totaling his own shares after trading to 1.5 million shares, corresponding to 13.07%.

Before the information of EVN’s divestment, EMC’s shares experienced five consecutive times of hitting the maximum rise from March 13, 2018 to March 19, 2018, to VND 18,650 per share and then declined again. By the end of the trading session on March 23, 2018, EMC shares were priced at VND 15,600 per share.

In 2017, EMC's revenue reached VND 292 billion and profit after tax was VND 2.56 billion.
