At the Conference, EVN was acknowledged and praised by the Standing Deputy Prime Minister of the Government Truong Hoa Binh for its achievements in implementing key projects and corporate equitization, etc.
Also at the Conference, EVN was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the CMSC for its outstanding achievements in implementing major tasks and key projects in 2020.
Making an important contribution to macroeconomic stability
EVN has taken the initiative to report to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Finance, and the CMSC, proposing the Government’s permission to reduce electricity rates and electricity bills twice in 2020 for customers affected by COVID-19 pandemic. The total amount of the two times of reduction is expected to be over VND12,300 billion with a total discounted time of up to 6 months. Along with that, EVN employees have donated and supported tens of billion dongs to join hands in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic; supporting people suffering from natural disasters, etc.
The Commission and its member corporations have actively implemented the Government's policies on accelerating corporate restructuring, equitization, divestment of investment capital from non-core businesses and improving operational efficiency of state-owned enterprises.
