Specifically, in training area, EVN and HUST will develop practical postgraduate training programs (masters, PhDs and expert training) for EVN.
The doctoral and master's training programs link with collaborative scientific research projects between EVN and HUST in each period. HUST will assist EVN in training technical experts and dispatch their professors and doctors to participate in EVN's expert seminars as critical experts.
EVN’s President and CEO Tran Dinh Nhan spoke at the signing ceremony
In the field of science and technology, the two sides will cooperate to build long-term, medium-term and short-term research programs and plans; propose topics and projects related to stable power system operation, power transmission, power distribution, energy saving and renewable energy, etc.
In particular, the two sides will focus on researches to improve power quality by using active harmonic filters; studying the application of big data processing technology in the classification and evaluation of characteristics of loads in distribution grids; studying the application and development of smart grid standards with the integration of distributed energy sources and incentive mechanisms for renewable energy development in accordance with Vietnam's conditions; proposing programs of research and application of technological advances of the Industry 4.0 for EVN, step by step implementing the digital transformation process to meet development trends, etc.
In addition, HUST will coordinate with EVN's power plants to study and propose scientific research topics to solve operation related problems.
EVN and HUST signed a cooperation agreement in the fields of training, science and technology
At the signing ceremony, EVN’s President and CEO Tran Dinh Nhan hoped that EVN and Hanoi University of Science and Technology would continue to develop a long term and comprehensive cooperation in the fields of training, science and technology, thereby bringing about common benefits, contributing to the development of two parties.
On the side of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Hoang Minh Son, Principal of the university said that this is an important milestone, elevating the cooperation to a higher level, with the aim of better exploiting inherent advantages of the two sides. On the other hand, it contributes to the supply of human resources with both professional quality and practical skills for EVN, as well as an opportunity to help the university develop well their scientific research and technology transfer projects.
