Speaking at the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam stated that the core of digital transformation is to deploy IT applications to create greater added value for every business, greater efficiency for every organization, and bring greater opportunities for every citizen.
Digital transformation is an opportunity for Vietnam, but to make the best use of that opportunity, you must have thinking beyond yourself, breaking old habits and mindsets to be creative and groundbreaking.

Participating in the discussion panel session "Breakthrough solutions to boost Digital Transformation – Developing ICT and Technologies Platforms”, EVN’s Vice President Vo Quang Lam said that EVN has actively applied IT in corporate governance, production and business, and customer service from the beginning.
Since the 2000s, EVN has been one of the pioneers to deploy e-offices. To date, 95% of documents in the Group have been circulated electronically.
In particular, in business - customer service activities, in 2013, EVN was remarkably recognized as the first business in the country issuing electronic invoices on a large scale.
The diversification of electricity bill payment channels has been implemented by EVN in recent years, including online electricity bill payment through automatic debiting, Internet banking, mobile banking, electronic wallet, etc.
As of 2018, EVN has provided electricity services equivalent to public service level 4 - the highest level. Transactions of customers with EVN, from service request to contract signing and payment, all are carried out online via technology platform. In 2019, EVN aims to provide electricity services to customers in the form of electronic transactions.
In the process of digital transformation, EVN has implemented online electricity service transactions and strengthened the relationship between the power industry and customers on cyberspace. Customer satisfaction with the power industry has been increasing. Quality of electricity services is also recognized through positive reviews from international organizations.
