At the meeting, Mr. Truong Thiet Hung, representing for staff and employees of EVNGENCO 2 gave VND 200 million to Quan Hoa District's leaders in order to support residents people of the district to overcome difficulties after flood and re-fix houses for the poor households, helping them soon stabilize their lives, the students resume their schooling.
Mr. Ba Diem - Provincial party member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of People's Council of Quan Hoa District expressed thanks for the support and attention paid by staff and employees of EVNGENCO 2.

In the same morning, the Chairman of EVNGENCO 2 and the working delegation of the Corporation also donated VND 200 million to representatives of Muong Lat District People's Committee to help people affected by floods in the locality.
Over the past few days, due to the influence of low vortex in the North, from 31/8/2018 to 3/9/2018, heavy rains, floods in the North and Thanh Hoa, have affected the daily activities of the people in Quan Hoa and Muong Lat districts, roads to the district are affected by landslide, clean water and electric power is also cut off by rainy floods.
Also during the recent rainy days, Trung Son Hydropower Company Limited No. 2 (EVNGENCO 2) has coordinated with local authorities to evacuate people in threatened places at risk of landslide to safe positions, support local authorities to deal with landslide areas, continue to save and support the affected residents of Co Me village and resettlement areas, conduct propaganda to people about flood situation and natural disaster mitigation measures.
